Strata Solar was awarded the 2018 Green Business Walk the Walk Clean Energy award from local nonprofit Sustainable Sandhills on June 28, 2018. Sustainable Sandhills is a North Carolina based environmental nonprofit with a mission to save the planet and preserve the environment of the Sandhills through education, demonstration, and collaboration. Since 2009 they have been the independent third-party verifier for the Sandhills-area businesses who have exemplified environmental stewardship. Their efforts have created a positive environmental impact and supported local businesses and communities to accomplish a triple bottom line approach.
